In order to assist CCAMLR Members and their observers in planning observation programs and recording data, the CCAMLR Secretariat, in consultation with the Scientific Committee and its working groups, have revised the Scientific Observers Manual (2011). The Scientific Observers Manual for Krill Fisheries contains guidance on standard tasks and requirements for observers as well as supplementary information to aid data collection requirements for Antarctic krill (Euphausia superba) fisheries.
