The CCAMLR Secretariat is delighted to be hosting the 31st meeting of the Scientific Committee. We hope you will find the following information useful to make your participation enjoyable.
SUBMISSION OF PAPERS TO MEETINGS OF THE WORKING GROUPS
1. Papers must be submitted by email to the Secretariat (webmaster [at] ccamlr [dot] org) by no later than 0900 h on the day which is exactly two weeks prior to the commencement of the meeting, based on Eastern Australia standard time (‘Hobart’ time).
1. Contracting Parties are invited to submit for consideration at meetings of the Scientific Committee, working papers[1] and background papers related to specific items of the Scientific Committee’s agenda.
The following information is provided by the Secretariat for the use of Member and Observer delegations to the Thirty-first Meetings of the Commission and the Scientific Committee for the Conservation of Antarctic Marine Living Resources.
1. Dates
Scientific Committee: 22 to 26 October 2012. There will be a meeting for Scientific Committee Representatives only at 1600 h on Sunday 21 October.
Submission of papers to meetings of the Commission
These rules aim to ensure that papers are submitted in sufficient time and in an appropriate form for participants to be able to read them and absorb their contents before matters contained therein are addressed. This will also enable the substance of each paper to be given due and equal consideration.
